I have had a love for flowers since I was a little girl picking buttercups in my grandmother's front yard. After graduating from NCSU in 1996 and working in the corporate world for a number of years, I decided to quit the rat race and pursue my dream of designing flowers. In 2011 I became a North Carolina Certified Professional Florist (NCCPF).

Since 2019 I have competed in the North Carolina State Fair Professional Florist Competition. I have been awarded numerous ribbons in Wedding and Sympathy Design. With a sympathy piece honoring NC native Ava Gardner, I was awarded Best In Show in 2012.
